- Annaprasana
The ceremony of feeding solid food to a baby for the first
time is called Annaprasana Samskara. This is advised to
be performed in the 6th, 8th, or 10th months for boys and
5th, 7th, 9th and 11th months for girls, at an auspicious
Muhurtha.
